Fallin Honored for Support of Family Values

Congresswoman Mary Fallin (OK-05) has been recognized as a “True Blue” Member of Congress by FRC (Family Research Council) Action and Focus on the Family Action for her unwavering commitment to American families.

The award honors Members of Congress who have exhibited extraordinary leadership and commitment to the defense of family, faith, and freedom, according to FRC Action’s scorecard covering House votes of the 110th Congress. Recipients of the award voted consistently for pro-life and pro-family issues.

"FRC Action and Focus on the Family have been enthusiastic advocates for traditional family values and the rights of the unborn," said Fallin.  "I am honored to accept this award, and I offer my thanks to these organizations for continuing to fight for the values that make America great."

Votes highlighted by FRC Action and Focus on the Family included:

--Defending Restrictions on Funding International Abortion Groups
--Human Cloning Prohibition
--Embryonic Stem Cell Research Enhancement Act

--Prohibit Implementing the "Fairness Doctrine"
--Exploit Indian Gaming Regulatory Act
