New Jobs and a Stronger Economy

Oklahoma is poised to dramatically grow its economy, IF we make the right choices. As governor, I’ll work tirelessly to bring new, high quality jobs to the state and enact business friendly reforms that will grow our economy.
 
As states like New York and California lose jobs due to tax hikes and poor budgeting, we can be a magnet for economic development. For that to happen, however, we need to create the right climate for business. That means keeping our taxes low, simplifying the tax structure and reducing costs from predatory lawsuits and our outdated workers’ compensation system.
 
Under a Fallin administration, Oklahoma will be “open for business,” and the rest of the country will know it. As the nation struggles to regain its footing in this tough economic climate, we can lead the charge and show the public – and the bureaucrats in Washington – that smart, conservative, fiscally sound policies generate financial success, not higher taxes and more spending.
