Dear Friend,

Congress has gone back in session since the last time I’ve updated you on my campaign for governor.  I have been there fighting for you against “Obamacare,” cap-and-trade, and other overreaching government programs.  But I’ve still been able to spend a lot of time in Oklahoma continuing to build momentum for my campaign.  From the time I get off the plane, I'm busy traveling the state, listening to your concerns and talking about my vision for a better, more prosperous Oklahoma!

Fall means football and the fair

Fall means football and the fairSeptember and October were busy months.  I was happy to be there for the OSU-Georgia game and was very proud of my Cowboys for beating the Georgia Bulldogs!  We also had a great crowd show up in Norman for a pre-game tailgate reception before the OU-Tulsa game.  I hope all three teams finish strong this season!

At the Oklahoma State Fair, a great group of volunteers staffed the GOP booth for an entire day and I was excited to drop by for a few hours to meet and greet fairgoers – and I was glad to enjoy some of the great fair food!  My plans to attend the Tulsa State Fair were canceled at the last minute so I could attend the funeral of former Governor Henry Bellmon. But we heard from several volunteers who attended the Tulsa fair and everyone had fun.  Sorry I wasn’t able to attend.

I also attended a campaign reception in Ardmore, visited Kingfisher to speak at a fundraiser for the Kingfisher County GOP and made a trip back to Stillwater to visit with the OSU College Republicans – a great group of student leaders.  To see photos from some of our recent campaign events, click here now

The online grassroots campaign is still going strong. We now have more than 3,200 fans on Facebook – more than any other candidate for governor! And our following on other social media platforms like Twitter, YouTube and Flickr continue to grow each day.

What do you think?

It’s always great when I get a chance to visit with folks while traveling the state. I’ve gotten some really good ideas on the campaign trail and always value your opinions.

We’ve written up a quick three-question survey so that you can let us know your opinion on these issues.  Click here to take our online survey and share with us your views.

We need your help!

Fall means football and the fairI certainly cannot win this race without the help and support of so many volunteers!  Volunteer nights are in full swing and are held the first and third Tuesday of the month at the campaign headquarters, 4308 N. Classen Blvd in Oklahoma City. We provide snacks and drinks and the staff makes sure you have an enjoyable time while you’re helping out!

And if you can’t make it to volunteer night, I can still use your help in other areas.  There were a great group of volunteers representing the campaign at the Yukon Czech Festival a few weeks ago and there also were several supporters who wore campaign t-shirts while they ran in the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure in Oklahoma City.

There are plenty of other events where you can lend a hand.  If you’d like to show your support at one of these events, please call the campaign office at (405) 343-0277 or e-mail us.

Thanks and God bless,

Mary Fallin
