Members of the Oklahoma delegation in the U.S. House voted Thursday against a $1.9 trillion dollar debt limit increase pushed by Democrats.

Congressman Tom Cole called it 'incredibly irresponsible' and Representative Mary Fallin said it's dangerous.

"The buy-now, pay later attitude in Washington is driving our nation off a financial cliff," said Fallin.  In an interview Friday on KTOK's First News with Reid Mullins, the GOP candidate for governor also was critical of the President's proposed budget saying it 'spends too much, taxes too much and borrows too much'.
