The GOP's newest rising star: Gov. Mary Fallin

One of the political profiles that rose dramtically during the GOP convention is that of Oklahoma Governor Mary Fallin.

Mitt Romney mentioned her by name is his acceptance speech last night, wishing his mom would have been alive to hear Governor Fallin and other high-profile Republican women speak.

Governor Fallin's become a surrogate for the Romney-Ryan campaign.

Last night, she promoted the top of the ticket on Fox News' The Willis Report.

Now, Governor Fallin will head to North Carolina to stump for Romney and Ryan in Charlotte while the Democrats are having their convention
